School Supplies For Students
Elementary School
For the second year in a row, the Ysleta Independent School District is providing free basic school supplies to every student enrolled in Preschool - 5th Grade start of the 2026-27 school year.
The supplies will be distributed to students through their respective campuses.
To help families prepare for the start of the 2026-27 school year, below is a list of the supplies that will be provided by grade level:
Each campus will communicate how the school supplies will be provided to students. Parents should also be aware that their pre-K or elementary-school campus/teacher may also send a Supplemental School Supply List for those families who choose to purchase additional items in support of their child’s classroom, such as hand sanitizer or tissue boxes.

Middle School (Grades 6-8)
School supply lists have been posted online for each Ysleta ISD middle school. To access, visit your child’s middle-school webpage and click the Students & Families tab near the top, then click School Supply List for 2026-27. For the convenience of our families, the supply list also includes links that make it easy for parents to make purchases from their favorite online retailers, including Walmart, Target, and Amazon. Visit the Middle School Supply page for more information. Click here to access the page.
High School (Grades 9-12)
Due to the wide range of diverse classes offered at our high schools, teachers will provide supply lists to high school students during the first week of classes. This approach gives our high-school parents the time and opportunity to purchase supplies once their child’s class schedule and specific extracurricular/co-curricular needs have been confirmed.
Ysleta ISD is thankful for the strong partnership we share with our families as we work together to give every student a great start to the 2026-27 school year – one that builds confidence and prepares them for success both inside and outside the classroom.
